In 1994 produced a series of house/hard house 12″s under the artist name of ‘Blister Sisters’ and ran the house label called ‘Completely Suitable’, this ran from 1994 to 1997 and had 14 releases, some of these were white labels.
In the early 90’s produced a series of tapes called ‘Breakbeat Mix’ , these were mixes of hip hop breakbeats and other samples, produced on a sampler rather than turntables they were like very long tracks rather than DJ mixes.
In 1996 the best parts of the ‘Breakbeat Mixes’ were compiled on a vinyl album called ‘Breaker Breaks Volume One’. This album also had sections of film samples and hip hop noises for scratch DJ’s. The label this was released on was known as ‘Second To None’ which was the B-Boy crew of which DJ Junk was a member and so used that name for the new label. The ‘Breaker Breaks’ albums were followed with other volumes to reach volume 6.

Lana M aka Lana Mcgeagh is a British artist with 20+ years experience as a DJ behind her. Currently working as a resident DJ for various stations, mixing various genres – but predominantly Jungle / Drum and Bass; the music she grew up with and which she now specialises in.
Lana has had the honour of playing overseas, and at some of London’s top clubs such as KOKO (aka Camden Palace), The Brixton Electric (aka The Fridge), Mass, Turnmills and The Drome (aka SE1), alongside some top DJs. And all before the age of 24, when she then took time out to raise her daughter. In this time-out from DJ’ing, she studied Music Production & Sound Engineering HND, and as a result she is now a skilled multi-genre producer that can use almost any DAW, as well as a skilled multi-genre DJ, that can mix on any medium.

Hi, I’m DJ Smitty.
I have been DJing since 1993. I started out as a bedroom DJ playing hardcore, jungle and drum and bass but through the years have gone on to play all sorts really including house, garage and techno.
My first exposure to playing to audience was at Life FM radio where I was a resident every Friday night for quite a few years. Following this I went on to be a resident at Rude FM and Ice Cold FM as well as guesting on Origin, Only Old Skool Radio and House Heads Radio.
My first taste of playing out at a rave was with Club EHM at their event Breaks at the Egg Club in Kings Cross. I was a resident for Club EHM from around 2005 until 2011 playing at many of their events including Moondance, Son of Dance, Freedom to Dance and Breaks. I have also played for Essence of Chi, Epidemik, Rave Utopia and Nurtured Beats. This gave me the opportunity to play at a wide range of clubs across London such as Camden Palace, SEOne, Ministry of Sound, Scala, Egg Club, Jacks and Hidden to name a few.
Although I haven’t played out in a few years, I still have a huge passion for music and spend most of my spare time mixing and guesting on radio when I can. You can catch me here on Alphawave Radio…………
